Mission & Purpose

Russell Christian Academy was founded in 2004 and exists as a ministry of Russell Baptist Church to partner with parents in equipping students to embrace Biblical truth, achieve their God-given potential, and engage the culture for the cause of Christ. Russell Christian Academy stands as a lighthouse to those seeking a Christ-centered place of excellence with a loving and caring environment where students can launch into adult life, equipped with the character and skills to navigate successfully for God's service.

Core Values

A Christian education begins with the conviction that the Bible is God-breathed, inerrant, infallible, and the absolute standard for truth, faith, and life. Every subject, discipline, and experience is viewed through the lens of Scripture, equipping students to discern truth from error and to develop a biblical worldview. As students grow in their knowledge of Christ, they learn to love what is true, think critically, and faithfully apply God's Word in every area of life.

2 Timothy 3:16-17, John 14:6, Psalm 119:105, Proverbs 3:5-6

God has created each student with the capacity to learn, reason, create, and steward knowledge for His glory. A Christian education cultivates intellectual curiosity, academic excellence, and wisdom by encouraging students to pursue truth diligently and think with discernment. As they grow in understanding, students recognize that all knowledge ultimately points to the greatness and sovereignty of God.

Proverbs 1:7, Proverbs 2:6, Philippians 4:8, 2 Timothy 2:15

The leadership of our school is committed to serving Christ by faithfully shepherding our students according to biblical truth. Following the example of Jesus, we seek to lead with humility, wisdom, and integrity, fostering a Christ-centered culture where every decision advances our mission of equipping students to engage the culture for the cause of Christ. Through servant leadership and faithful stewardship, we strive to glorify God in every aspect of our school community.

Matthew 20:26-28, 1 Peter 5:2-3, Titus 1:7-9, Colossians 3:17

Every student is uniquely created in the image of God and gifted with abilities, talents, and a divine purpose. Through a Christ-centered education, students are encouraged to discover, develop, and faithfully steward these gifts in dependence upon God's grace. Their greatest potential is found not in personal achievement, but in becoming more like Christ and serving Him wholeheartedly.

Ephesians 2:10, Philippians 1:6, 1 Peter 4:10, Romans 12:4-8

As a Christ-centered school, we are committed to honoring God through faithful stewardship, ethical leadership, transparency, and accountability in every aspect of our ministry. Integrity is demonstrated when our words, decisions, relationships, and actions consistently reflect biblical principles. By conducting ourselves with honesty, excellence, and wisdom, we build trust within our school community and glorify God in all we do.
