In the spring of 2018, Russell Christian Academy launched a capital campaign to construct a new multi-purpose facility. Now, just over a year later, we are witnessing the fruits of our labor! On September 30, we broke ground on the new facility!

The new building will not only provide RCA students with dedicated, state of the art space for academic excellence, but it will also enable the school to increase campus security by removing the modular that is currently in place. It will provide 24,000-square-feet of space to include up to eight classrooms and a modernized science lab. Such space will enable RCA to keep class sizes small and provide a centralized space for elementary grades. It will also expand science/STEM education with new labs and technology.

We are using J&J Construction Company out of Collinsville, MS, and Community Bank in Meridian is helping with the financing. Our estimate is 8-10 months for completion, as we want to be finished by the end of June 2020 so administrators can have July to plan which classes will move to new classrooms.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the Grounded in Faith, Growing to Serve campaign. We wouldn’t be where we are today without you! We have currently raised approximately $712,000. If you have not already participated, please consider doing so. We are still working hard to reach our campaign goal of $830,000!

Through your donation you will be partnering with a ministry that engages and equips the next generation to impact our world for the cause of Christ!
